{"id":731,"date":"2026-07-29T12:37:35","date_gmt":"2026-07-29T09:37:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aebtri.com\/en\/?p=731"},"modified":"2026-09-14T09:11:18","modified_gmt":"2026-09-14T06:11:18","slug":"temporary-truck-restrictions-on-31-july-and-2-august-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aebtri.com\/en\/2026\/07\/29\/temporary-truck-restrictions-on-31-july-and-2-august-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Temporary truck restrictions on 31 July and 2 August 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"bt_rc_container\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency has announced temporary driving restrictions for trucks over 12 tonnes on 31 July and 2 August 2026 \u043en:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px\">&#8211; Trakia motorway,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px\">&#8211; Struma motorway, and<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px\">&#8211; on road I-1, on the section from Simitli road junction (km 376) to the Kulata border crossing point (with Greece).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The restrictions will apply for both directions of travel:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px\">&#8211; on Friday 31 July from 16.00 to 23.00, and<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px\">&#8211; on Sunday 2 August from 15.30 to 22.00.<br \/>\nAll times are Eastern European Summer Time (EEST).<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The restrictions do not apply to vehicles over 12 tonnes transporting dangerous goods (ADR), live animals, perishable food products or temperature-controlled goods, as well as specialised carcass trucks and vehicles of road maintenance companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Recommended alternative routes:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px\">&#8211; for Trakia motorway: road I-6;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 16px\">&#8211; for Struma motorway and road I-1: road II-19 Simitli\u2013Gotse Delchev, from the junction of road I-1 with road II-19 in Simitli to the intersection with road III-198 in Gotse Delchev, along road III-198 Gotse Delchev\u2013Kulata, to the intersection with road III-1981 in Chuchuligovo, and along road III-1981 to the intersection with road I-1 in Kulata, and back.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency has announced temporary driving restrictions for trucks over 12 tonnes on 31 July and 2 August 2026 \u043en: &#8211; Trakia motorway, &#8211; Struma motorway, and &#8211; on road I-1, on the section from Simitli road junction (km 376) to the Kulata border crossing point (with Greece).
